About The Ranch

A green patchwork of approximately 200 acres sits just south of Tulsa. A white decorative steel gate greets you at 2275 South Highway 75 in Beggs, Oklahoma. Once the white gates open and you stand staring down the renowned pathway you will see a collection of beautiful broodmares, top of the line stallions, fun filly’s, and eye catching colts. The ranch provides breeding, boarding, foaling, sales prep, and stallions. The broodmare barn stalls have individual paddocks that are a perfect fit for the mare and her baby.

Rockin’ Z Ranch is home away from home for the successful businessman, Robert Zoellner. Horses have been a life long love for Robert. He began by claiming horses and running them at Midwest tracks, most frequently captivating crowds at Remington Park, Lone Star, and Oaklawn. Robert Zoellner purchased Rockin’ Z Ranch February 14, 2006. Since then he has made it not only another home but an enjoyable business as well.

Joe Flemmings

Joe Flemmings

Joe Flemings, Ranch Manager of Rockin’ Z Ranch, has been in the horse business for over 25 years. During his career, Joe raised, trained and raced both quarter and thoroughbred horses. In early 2007, Joe retired from training due to health reasons. However, he still wanted to be involved in the racehorse business. He had successfully trained racehorses for Rockin’ Z Ranch for many years, and was invited to be involved in the breeding and raising segment. Joe’s theory regarding horses is to take care of them as if they were his own “children” and his own “parents”, with feeding programs and grooming being very important. Joe has been with the ranch for over a two years now, and looks forward to everyday working with the “youngsters” and seeing them grow from inception to the racetrack.
